Excellent video covering the game. Developed by Psikyo and an absolute gem from the Dreamcast. We need a port to modern platforms like Power Stone got.

Forever stuck on the Dreamcast. And expensive to get physical, of course. Maybe it'll be added to a future colleciton like Punisher was added as a random bonus.

Looking for a genuine answer, no bias or nostalgia, did this game play as cool as it appeared in magazines back then?

Or was it just a decent 7/10 game with a bit of jank?

I recently replayed it when I set up my Emudeck, and it's a fun shooter, but it's not all that. Tight controls, good music, cool art, and it's a surprisingly dark take on the future of some SF characters. It's worth a play, nothing special though, even though I do love it, admittedly.

One of my favorites.
The game is meant to be 1cc'ed. I always wished the levels were longer. You could tell its kinda rushed and unfinished half-ideas - but still fun.

I bought it at release and still have it - mint.
Gamefan Magazine went nuts over the this game when it came out - they scored it very highly.
