Not that long ago we would have gotten a super nice deluxe set/collector's edition of some kind to make sense of these re-releases instead of meaningless digital only crap.
There was a rumor physical PS5 versions would come this year, but I guess this is it instead.. depressing, my RE collection is getting so little these days.

RE2 + RE3 should get PS5 Pro enhancements.

RE1, 0, and CV should be the next remakes
Even if CAPCOM doesn't patch in official Pro enhancements, the games should run flawlessly on PS5 Pro with no hitches or slowdown which sounds like a great enhancement on its own.

Didn't they already do that for the 2014 re-release? The results weren't great.
Nah. They just used bog standard upscaling techniques. Shortly afterwards, AI image generation started becoming a viable option and some dedicated fans began upscaling the images and getting far better results than what Capcom got. The sad thing is that if REmake's remaster had been released about a year after it did, we'd have gotten a much better game.

There are improvements they can make to RT there.

Single player games should continue to get updates. That's how you make them forever games and keep them relevant generation after generation. There's enough breathing room here to make updates without going crazy into resource costs.

Both games should have RT + HFR here, which is something you can't do as is. You have to toggle RT off to get the HFR option. That at a minimum should be fixed.

Was shit upscaling background and somehow they change some of musics.

The ups and downs with the camera are annoying as well. I got this remaster, but I prefer playing on my original Game Cube.

The only positive thing about this remaster is that I buy on PS3 and got a free theme and a PS4 version for free.

You came from the GC version but played the HD release in 16:9? Blasphemy.

I need to look into the changed music, I don't recall what changed.

I played the GC version on a CRT TV, the REmake was pretty good looking for the time.

Of course would look terrible because of the pre-render background.

Capcom could use AI to make the pre-render background looks decent at modern tvs.

$90? Well that's a pass from me.
LOL I said to myself while reading the article "Wow that's a good deal for $60." Then I found it on PSN for $90. I own all these games anyway, but was going to recommend the bundle to a friend who wanted to play them.

Hopefully RE1 gets the full remake treatment and not some upscaled shit again.

Even with AI, they'd be better off just using a modern engine and just focus on ultra-detailed confined spaces with crazy atmosphere, like they already did in some areas of 7, 8 and 2 remake.

2 and 3 duo pack have often been available for 15-20 bucks digital. RE4 has been on sale too, I think I bought it a year ago for 39 or so.

RE1 has 1:1 Remake for more than 20 years now, so yeah its going to be third person full remake nothing else, if it's true that they working on it.

I meant the 16:9 mode where the camera moves

I read the title wrong and thought they announced a classics trilogy bundle. Damn. With all the Fighting Collections they are doing imagine if they do a Survival Classics collection, with Dino Crisis included.

Curious about how well it will sell.
Who doesn’t own a single game out of those?

Instead give us RE 1,2,3 OG for CONSOLES!!

I'm guessing no physical release which is a shame because I'd actually pay $90 for that, certainly not for digital versions though. This digital bundle should be $60-70 tops.

Meh. Wake me up when this is physical. I had RE2R & 3R + some crap remake for 12€ in a digital sale. And I have 4R physical. Just need the physical version of 2 & 3 with the PS5 code in the disk, otherwise it has no value for me.

Digital bundle? Wtf? Like how is this any different than just buying all 3 on sale separately? I was assuming this would be a physical collection which I would be interested in. Lame.

This reminds me of how much I need a Resident Evil 1 remake without the goddamn ink limitation so I can get started on this franchise (yeah, I hate starting at 2 or 26,)
