ok so i got myself an all-in-wonder and i hooked my xbox up to it to try out the capturing. i selected mpeg-4 and after im done recording i go to look at the video all i get is sound, no picture. well theres picture but its just some scramble stuff up top and thats it.

any ideas?

do you have all the latest video codecs?

im pretty sure. i watch a ton of videos and i havent come across a video with no picture in months (since i re-installed windows).

This issue always seems intrinsically linked to whether or not a DVD player is installed. Though you would have thought you could simply download some codecs etc. Computers are shit aren't they.

Probably overlays, turn them off

Not sure why as DVDs are encoded in MPEG-2, not MPEG-4.

Have you tried recording using a different codec?
