To quite a few people, Will as a musician was never cool, he was just popular. His rap was always seen as safe and for older audiences compared to his peers. As an actor he was spectacular.

Not saying he didn't have hits in music though.

His acting is shit, too. I am not just talking about Wild Wild West and Hancock. Rewatch Pursuit of Happyness or I am Legend. His cheesy acting fucking sucks.

The slap I can forgive. Him sticking with his wife after her repeated abuse and public humiliation is my issue with the guy. I no longer want to see anything he's in, and I'm sure there's a lot of people who feel the same way. That's not a good thing for a movie star.
