Abyssinian is your only option, dude. Also, maybe a cat like a manx (the one with a tiny tail), because they usually have pretty short hairs.

Or, just deal with it and get a Tonkinese cat. They're so adorable.

I was at the pet store and was "attacked" by a cat, it liked my red hoodie I guess and jumped to the front of its cage and stuck its claws out and almost got me

I always liked cats, but was always alergic to them, until a calico kitten showed up at my door in '95. I kept her.

I have never been alergic to her, and I have never been alergic to a cat since. Some very minor symptoms remain: Her scratches tend to itch for a while and I can still get irratated eyes if I rub them after handling her.

Seems like I abruptly got over the allergy.

technically there are many options, but it takes LOTS of research.. a trip to the vet or a shelter would probably be good also.

there are many breeds of cats and dogs that are less "harmful" to people with alergies.. as has been shown in this thread there are people who are allergic and found a cat they aren't.

the only down side is without getting lucky and finding a compatible mixed breed your only chance may be a pure bred which means big bucks..

What are you talking about jenov4? Sphynx cats are adorable, indeed this is the only kind of cat I'd ever get (and then I'd call him mini-me)

I think everyone is allergic to cats at first. It goes away after a month or so.
