CBD

So I have been having some insomnia lately and decided to try CBD, since I am not a fan of pharmaceuticals. I’ve been using the oil for a few days now, and I notice a difference in my mood, but no real “effects” so to say.

I just smoked some CBD Hemp flowers since it is Friday night and wow, it’s all the good parts of a marijuana high without the fuzzy feeling of being high. Anyone else try this stuff?

Just saw they were selling CBD oil in the mall and was wondering about it myself.

I was at a gas station and saw them selling a CBD joint. So I was intrigued. Joe Rogan was talking about the benefits of CBD in one of his recent podcasts so I decided to go to an actual CBD store and learn about it.

The store I went to sold both oil, topical, CBD infused coffee and hemp flowers. Hemp flowers look like kind bud. So I got some oil and the bud.

It smells just like pot, but when smoking it (not that I know, it’s illegal), it has a different taste.

It’s like an Indica high but just the mellow.

hey guys I used CBD when I had problems with sleep. It actually helps. the oils are ususally hard pressed without the THC component so you can't really get high on those. I also use CBD for my anxiety

Many “Whelps”! Handle It!
I tried CBD capsules for a few weeks. I didn't feel that much different, perhaps a bit more calm. I did sleep longer though.

I’ve used CBD for years. It never makes me tired but chills me out during an anxiety attack. My buddy uses it and falls asleep every time. I tried some of his and it didn’t do anything for me.

I use Kratom now and then before Bed and that does way more for me than CBD because it dulls back pain and generally relaxes me.

Magnesium oil and Magnesium Glyecate (Spelling) is and has been my go to the longest. I ran out of the oil and started taking the pills lately for a few reasons. Mostly because of my UC but one of the best things about mag is it’s helps you sleep and everyone I give the oil to has crazy dreams all night long. The pills mixed with a melatonin is basically great sleep for me.

It's the latest and hottest snake oil. While you take it, you're supposed to let the world know how woke you are because you have avoided the pharma cartel. There is no possible way there is anyone out there trying to make money on CBD.

10 mg Natrol Melatonin. The best stuff for sleep.

I’ve been using melatonin periodically for about 5 years now. I wish I knew about it when I was younger, but maybe it wasn’t a thing in the 80s?

Just go out and get some, there's a lot of positive things going around CBD.

Stop putting substances in your body and figure out what’s actually wrong with you that’s causing your insomnia. I promise that this is the best long-term solution.
I love this mindset.

Melatonin doesn't help me. I take Remeron for sleep.

CBD probably won't do much either. I tried Kratom a few times because of word of mouth and it was a bust. I think CBD is a placebo and just more snake oil.

My friend is smoking hemp/CBD cigarettes and loves them. I prefer the THC but what ever helps! Im glad people are seeing all the benefits of hemp and CBD these days!

My brother in law brings me shit from California and Colorado. THC infused CBD syrups. Shit works bcs I'm not a smoker so i don't gotta deal with toking up.

I ordered some of the good stuff online "Full Spectrum" or whatever they term it. There's no regulation on selling a pile of nothing as a CBD product as far as I know, so you kind of have to research reddit and such for people who've done tests for decent stuff and avoid shills. Don't know if it helped me.

I did try some chocolate with weed last week but didn't feel any different. Next I'm going to try some microdosing with shrooms, but you have to import since it's technically illegal here even if you can just grow the mushrooms yourself.

Last year i spent about 6 months with insomnia, getting increasingly worse.

Turns out, it was heart failure (heart was working at 11%.

Not aaying this doesn’t work, it may well do indeed. But do go check yourself if you can my friend.

YOOOOO dawg

Scary. Did you have any reason to suspect you could have a heart problem? Like being obese, fatigued, being old?

I was overweight for my size, but not really that much. Thing is i started to retain liquid (edema) from the hip down, and it got to the point i couldn’t do anything at all before fatigue kicking in.

Turns out one of the arteries to the heart was damaged, apparently as lo g ago as childhood since i’ve never had seizures or any of the kind.

But while thinking about it, i fondly remember the insomnia, really aweful!

Edit: i forgot to add, i forst went to the ER because i though it was pneumonia (is that the spelling in english?).

I just had an annual physical in December. Was all clear. My insomnia is more to do with being a natural night owl. My body wants to sleep 2am-10am, so I struggle during the week to sleep 12-8. So I end up sleeping 2-8 and am sleep deprived.

It's lack of exercise; almost certainly. That's how it goes for most people, nowadays.

Without a complete change to the lifestyle, though, some non-dangerous substances can be a good crutch.
CBD is a good choice, in that regard.

The only benefit I've ever seen from CBD is that it is absolutely fantastic at bringing a person down from getting the spins on THC. Otherwise, I don't notice anything whatsoever.

Any other benefits, like helping with sleep, or pain, or appetite, or whatever else, is just icing on the cake.

I vaped a cbd oil cart before bed for a few months. Im like 85% sure i could notice effects and it got me drowsy and relaxed. BUt in a very acute and barely noticible way.

We just started giving our dog cbd treats/oil to mellow his anxiety and tone down his energy a little on certain occassions. Im like 50% sure i can notice difference but its only been two usages so far

CBD seems to be something pushed as a panacea but I haven't noticed any effects of it at all after taking it to sleep or relieve anxiety.
Some people swear by it.. and hey, if it works for you..

I’m a heavy weed user but I’ve been liking CBD more and more lately. Was smoking a bunch MAINLY for anxiety/depression (though, I’m not going to lie and act like it’s not fun to get stoned on days off), and CBD has been taking care of that nicely, and now I feel like I can function, so.

I see a lot of folks referring to it as snake oil and I don’t really blame them but at least for me the stuff is legit.

Your mileage may vary. For physical pain I find topicals work better, and for anxiety/depression I’ve found that water solubles/oils that are taken orally under the tongue work wonders. But that is just me. Everyone’s body is different.

I go through CBDMD.

If you feel like it’s snake oil, I recommend doing a bunch of research and after that, if you’re interested and you have the funds to roll the dice, try it. *Make sure you are using CBD, NOT hemp oil!!!!*

CBD helps me to relax, it makes me sleepy, but I always prefer a real THC joint over CBD, just works better for me.

I consider marijuana as one of the best sleep aids with no side effects other than being high. I usually smoke around an hour before I need to sleep and put something to watch and it'll be over soon. I'm in a legal state, went through 420 doctor so I tried both high THC and high CBD strains. Both were completely counterproductive for my insomnia - up all night.
I've done all of the sleep hygiene stuff, I've tried ambien (helps me get to sleep but not stay sleep), melatonin (works all right but I still have bouts of sleeplessness), even some weird crap like trying to face north in bed and putting a calming yellow filter on my computer monitor. But if I vape a small amount of weed every night I practically sleep like a regular person.

I’d been sober for 2 years and found myself experiencing a crippling amount of anxiety and depression the last few months.

I looked into CBD but as far as I could see, there was no real “standard” in the market nor was there any solid agreement on what an over the counter CBD product should be or have in it. That’s because the market has been flooded with a ton of product made by people just trying to cash in, and it may or may not be the “real” CBD oil I was looking for. The only way for me to know that I was getting something that was real and was considered effective was to see a doctor and get a prescription.

So I figured, well if I’m going to go that far I might as well get a medical marijuana card. So I looked into that and long story short it was more money than I want to spend right now.

Thankfully I have a connect with someone who does have an MMJ card and I got a hold of a vape pen with medical grade marijuana...

And oh my fucking god did it do the trick.

Two years of mental and emotional bull shit lifted off my shoulders less than 30 minutes after I took the first puff. My mental and emotional health is the best it’s been in years. I can’t recommend this stuff enough. If the CBD is helping, that’s great, but be carefully with that stuff because lot of it may not be real or as effective as you want it to be. If you can, go to a doc, get a MMJ card and have them prescribe you CBD or even some low THC flower or oil.
