Company Nuby Tech is developing a chainsaw controller for Gamecube that looks pretty scary. It’s inspired by one of the characters in Resident Evil 4, and it’s formed like a chainsaw.

You hold it like a normal chainsaw, and it’s said to feel comfortable in your hand. Unfortunately, you cannot see the L, R and Z buttons on this picture, but we hope they are on a fitting place.

No price is known yet, and it’s expected for a January 2005 release.

Well that's definitely taking themed controllers to the next level.

...Whether or not they should be taken to a level like this is another matter however.

That's actually pretty damn funny. I can even see how it would be a feasible controller with the chainsaw grips. It seems Nuby is entering Horii territory.
