The Feb. 8th release will be on 3 discs, as we mentioned, containing 13 episodes (it looks like the 3 special eps that ended the season - two "best of" clip shows and a "music jump-off" show - are not included) and running 275 minutes (that's a change from Paramount over the previous time given, which had said 308). In addition to the main first-run episodes from that season, we have a nice list of extras:

Audio commentaries by Dave Chappelle and series co-creator Neal Brennan
Two unaired Charlie Murphy Hollywood Stories
The Rick James extended interview
Extra stand-up from Dave Chappelle
Over 1 hour of bloopers and deleted scenes

Half Baked on the other hand will include an audio commentary with the director, a hilarious alternate ending, ten deleted scenes, a 'five minutes with the guy on the couch' feature with Steven Wright, a Different Type of Smokers featurette on the stoner culture and a Granny's Guide to Bakin' feature with recipies to satisfy even the worst cases of Munchies.

Sweet!

The Half-Baked cover's lame and excessive plugging of Chappelle is just bad. He's not the only one in the damn movie.

Fuck, the "Dave Chappelle" font is almost as big as the title.

God, I'm so sick of people seeing one or two shows with Charlie Murphy telling stories (most of which heavily involve his brother) and saying that he's funnier than Eddie. Eddie was doing the damn Rick James thing back in the 80's when he was on SNL. Give the man his props... he actually DID have a career (and talent) before he did Beverly Hills Cop.

I own the original Half-Baked disc, so I'll simply buy the SE... stick it in the regular case, and put those on my shelf, and go back the regular disc in the SE case and go stick it in a closet somewhere.

Chappelle haters in this thread can get deez nuts... let the man enjoy the damn spotlight, he wasn't the only person in the movie but he was the star of the movie...damn haterz.

That throwing stick stunt of yours has boomeranged on us.
I'm worried about those unaired Hollywood stories... worried that they suck. Cause if they don't suck, why not just keep them for season 3. I read that the next one will be the Eddie Murphy story, and he'll actually be interviewed like Rick James was.

Eddie Murphy doing something not family-friendly? I'll remain very, very doubtful until it happens. He's been pretty adamant about changing his image.

<IceT>OH HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE!</IceT>

I don't blame anyone for putting Chappelle over the other two guys cause he's the draw. Just putting his face on the movie will get people who never saw Half Baked to pick up the movie. It's no different than any movie that features Carmen Electra in their trailers, or Tyra Banks in Coyote Ugly.

February 8th is the day of all DVD days, ladies and gents.

Actually, he and Charlie are working on a project together, and Charlie says it will be old Eddie, and will make you shit your pants. I doubt that latter, but it's piqued my curiousity...

As for the new True Hollywood Stories, I'll agree, but you know, they're going to be hilarious anyway, cause it's CHARLIE MURPHY! They won't be on Prince's or Rick James' level, I'm sure. And there will be more THS in season 3. Much more.
