Check out these HOTT games!

Its so awesome that SCEA generally doesn't approve 2D games, or games with JP only voiceovers, yet SCEE has given the okay on each and every one of these gems. Oh, I mean that's not awesome.

I know its different territories and all that, but I would think games like this would only serve to downgrade the image of the PS2.

Speaking of, I have always wondered about the "approval process" of budget games, how it differs. Quality control standards must just go out the window... what an interesting double standard... is it only dependent on what price point the pubisher is planning on selling the game?

Half of those appear to be cartoons with a simple "coloring book" and "sliding puzzle" attached... and folks are busy complaining about the DS having "non-games"!

(Games like this make gaming collectors cry.)

I like this version better. :)

Ok, that Shit photoshop is Ace
Thanks for the laugh :lol :lol

Seanbaby has got a lot of work cut out for him with these titles.

WTF is a "Super" Budget Publisher?
Is that above High Budget or below Under Budget?

Is it just me or are the letters that aren't green rather suspicious? :lol

I think it's a declaration of what an education at a certain college will get you.

As far as I know SCEE isn't allowed under EU law to refuse the release of a title, whereas SCEA can enforce "quality control" through their "concept approval" process and deny the release of whatever they want.

SCEE QA may not necessarily make people's lives easy when it comes to actually passing a title for release (they've been even more "anti-Japanese voiceovers" than SCEA in the past but it's changing a bit now), but they theoretically can't block the release of a title in PAL, which is why budget stuff like this, which frankly looks like shit, can be and is released in Europe and not in the US. Pity the poor QA testers at SCEE who have to test and pass this crap tho. :)

Good laugh with this thread but in fact there's nothing wrong here. Those games are for young kids. Maybe there's a market or that. I guess it's a nice idea.
