Yes, many of these are the pinnacle of cheese, but many are not (and in fact, many are not explicitly "cheerful" in terms of lyrics, but the sound is really cool); all of them are good songs-- I don't care what anyone says.
They're not necessarily my "favorite" songs, but they're the ones that make me feel upbeat and positive when I listen to them for whatever reason (the sound, the lyrics, whatever it may be). I'm sure I've forgotten some, so expect addendums as they come to me.
