That's all I gleaned from the trailer. Not really much to go on.

Oh look another trailer that takes an old song...drains it of all its emotion with a badly overproduced cover thats slowed down for fake pavlonian dramatic effect or yells it at you to be edgy.
The movie also looked boring.

There has been some buzz on Twitter among the Hollywood scoopers and reporters that apparently Tom Holland has done an oscar worthy performance. Really excited.

Tom Holland is really growing on me. It was nice to see him break out of his shell in The Devil All The Time. I was worried he was going to get typecasted for more comedic roles after Spiderman and wouldn't get serious ones. Glad to be wrong.

I think the director & actor combination makes me look forward to this film. Hope it is good. Even if the story isn't the greatest, I think it can be carried by those factors alone.

If his performance is good in this as well, I have increased faith in his role as Nathan Drake. The more he matures a bit, I find myself warming to him as a young Drake. He fits the bill.

If anything that will work in their favour. Assuming they can improve on it. When the book is really good it can be hard to do an adaptation worthy of the time of fans who expect a lot.

Really enjoyed Tom Holland in The Devil All the Time which I saw last week. I’d watch this film, based on that. Parts of the trailer definitely pique my interest.

Searched the directors after seeing them praised in this thread. Marvel stuff, that’s why I haven’t heard of them.
