I'm confused...this "Cherry" company licensed Nissan's chassis and design and are releasing it on their own name? And yes, 6th gens are hideous Maximas. 5th gens for life!

No, they stole Nissan's design and just like they stole Daewoo's egg car and called it the QQ. Also, it's Chery... Apparently the name behind their story is, they wanted to spell Cheery, but someone mistranslated and wrote Chery. When they found out, it was too late. :lol They also have a copy of the Rav4 called the Tiggo if you want to look it up. I'm going to school in a couple seconds though so I can't look it up.

It's pretty low how they copy the design of other auto manufacturers, almost completely!
Not like it matters, we'll never see those copy-cat cars anyway.

I think, and hope, that Chinese manufacturers will get past this idiotic stage and develop some new designs of their own in the near future. After-all, Hyundai/Kia have made huge strides and are now no longer the laughing stock of the industry (hello GM..).

That coupe has the profile of an Alfa Romeo and a frontend that looks like a stretched Scion tC with the bumper of an ST185 RC
