the medicine will only be provided to youth who were taking part in clinical research trials. Children can still receive puberty blockers through some private practices.

England finally coming to their senses. Lets hope U.S is next.

This is all because of JK Rowling btw. If it wasnt for her continuing to expose these practices, kids would still be getting effectively sterilized. She should be woman of the year every fucking year. Hell, she has more balls than most men in the public space.

Kids can't vote, can't drink, can't get a tattoo, can't fight in a war, can't get a license to drive a vehicle, can't sign legal documents, can't buy cigarettes, can't donate blood, and can't see an R rated movie without an adult. But they can change their sex??? Why was it ever permitted?
 
What a crazy world, where something this obvious, needs to be put into law.

Still, it's good to see that there is still some people in the UK with good sense and morals.

I've never heard of that being a life altering or threatening condition.

So what? Hair starts growing in places a bit early? They start thinking about sex. Big deal. It's absolutely no reason to mess with hormones.
 
I feel like often this is done in haste and becoming the opposite gender is a big decision. You have to be 16 to buy a can of Monster in the UK.. so why should they receive hormone blockers?
