Jack Bauer will have his trusted system analyst Chloe by his side when he returns to Live Another Day. As widely expected, 24 fan-favorite Mary Lynn Rajskub has become the first cast member of the Emmy-winning Fox drama to join Kiefer Sutherlad on Fox’s upcoming event series 24: Live Another Day, which is premiering in spring 2014. “I am thrilled to be working with Howard (Gordon) and the writers again – and, of course, Kiefer!,” said Rajskub. “There’s a lot more room to grow in my character…I’m going to start sharpening my computer skills now!” 24: Live Another Day will follow the further exploits of heroic agent Jack Bauer (Sutherland), taking up his story several years after the events of the final season. 24: Live Another Day is a production of Teakwood Lane Prods. in association with 20th Century Fox TV and Imagine TV. Howard Gordon, Evan Katz, Manny Coto, David Fury, Robert Cochran, Brian Grazer, Jon Cassar and Kiefer Sutherland will executive-produce.

I'm pretty excited for this new season. Lower episode counts, hopefully no moles, no fat. Lets get this shit going.
 
This better have Charles Logan as a wheelchair-bound super villain.

I'll be severely dissappointed if she isn't killed within the first five minutes. I can't handle another season of her lemon sucking face.

Oh god, Chloe is the worst. She only has that one expression, a scowl, and hates whenever anyone asks her to do anything even tangentially related to her job. Never understood why she's somehow popular.

Chloe is a bro and one of the few that actually listened to Jack. If everyone at the show was chloe it would be called 24, it would be called 12 minutes.

I'm hoping this "season 9" will be Jack taking revenge on the russian president. He never really finished what he wanted to do. The 2nd half of season 8 was pretty awesome. As much as i hate that there will be only 12 episodes, at least that probably means there won't be any sidestories with the american president or whatever CTU/FBI employee no one really cares about.

Both Russian and China come back and it's finally explained how a small chip from an old Russian nuke could compromise current Russian safeguards and that it made sense for the Russians to attack a US base in the region to protect it. Thus making season 6 the best season ever.

And Max from season 2 is involved.

Awesome. I used to hate Chloe but I really grew to love her towards the end. Her stuff in Season 5 was especially great.

I wish they would resurrect all the dead good guys that played in multiple seasons. Tony was a good excuse because we never really saw him die at least, but too bad they can't do it with all the others.

Wait, so because men shouldn't ask women on the street to smile, writers shouldn't have to give her more than one emotion (contempt) to display? I have no problem with Mary-Lynn, I've heard some of her comedy stuff and I've seen her in other shows where she's been fine, I just think the character she plays is the worst.
