Circana: In the US, PS5 accounted for 47% of total Black Friday week hardware unit sales, Switch 2 for 24%, and NEX Playground for 14%

Neither did Nintendo, nor that Nex thing. Only Sony did heavy discounts.

But only Microsoft had abyssmal sales
I thought Nintendo has some Black Friday deals. Nevertheless, they are in a different situation with this being the Switch 2's first year on the market.
Xbox had bad sales figures. The consoles are prohibitively expensive. Everyone posting here knows this, so what did they expect?

And why do you think they didn't participate? Because they have given up on the failure that is Xbox Series.
I'm not disagreeing on the why and thank you for admitting they didn't participate.

A console manufacturer having an incredibly stupid reason for having shitty sales on Black Friday means it shouldn't be a topic, huh? The one person pushing this topic "on and on" is you. Keep clutching those pearls. You are exactly what you are whining about.
It's stupid that people are pretending that they expected the sales figures to be any better that they are, yes. And no, I'm not the person pushing this topic on- it's those of you in denial about Xbox not participating in Black Friday, pearl clutcher.

Says the guy with 15 posts in this thread alone.

There you go. Still haven't formed a coherent explanation for why anyone should have expected Xbox to have sold better during the Black Friday period, so you resort to your beloved memes. Even at your big age, forever playing to the gallery.

You accusing others of denying reality

Christ on a fucking bike I've seen everything now! 🤣🤣🤣
Seeing as you have nothing to counter the actual points I made in this thread, I'll just note that you posting a video from ReviewTechUSA (or whatever he calls himself now) is frighteningly fitting.

There were a few pearl clutchers denying the reality of the situation so it was incumbent on me to set them straight on the matter.

Here's Xbox's Hardware numbers YoY per quarter since Q1 2023. The fact that they "didn't participate in Black Friday" is meaningless. Even if they had, they would have been utterly destroyed by the (still) cheaper PS5 and Microsoft games going multiplatform. The only person denying reality stares back at you in the mirror.

So why exactly were people pretending to be shocked by the Xbox numbers from the Black Friday period? :pie_thinking:

Hell, I've said on many occasion that Microsoft is literally daring people to buy their console. The gifs are about you being triggered over people talking about it.

I have to believe he is doing this just to high five his buddies in a group chat claiming that he upset the PlayStation Fanboys 😂
NEX Playground (a console only you had ever heard of) outselling an entire and heavily discounted PS5 SKU has already done all the heavy lifting in the upsetting PlayStation fanboys department.

Bonus

PS Portal is over 40K for the month with the black one on backorder for the last week or so

PS Portal selling more this year WW than...Xbox. Imagine if that happens. A secondary PS console that until Novmber you needed PS5 to actually work selling more than Xbox Series hardware combined. I'm starting to think that may happen.

Do you know what happened that Q1? PS5 was readily available everywhere. That was the moment Xbox stopped being needed.

If you was smart you would know that's not true lol

That was the week before PS5 went on sale with most people knowing that it would be $100 cheaper in a few days.

Even then PS5 outsold it & Xbox Series all together with people knowing it would be on sale in a few days 😂

It's brave to comment on another person's intelligence with this level of grammar.

"B-b-b-but" it still got outsold.
In reality ( you know where the rest of us live) PS5 outsold NEX . You're smart enough to know that but pretending that you don't know for attention 😂

Sony had to lower their price by $100 to be competitive against the Switch 2. Very interesting.
- PS5 was cheaper last fall in the usa. Switch 2 wasn't out yet then.
- This discount puts the ps5 50 bucks cheaper than its launch price from 2020.

Some posts here make it seem like Sony is making shocking discounts to their console to remain competitive or something lol.

And nobody wants to talk about how the PS4 was $199 at this point "launch aligned".
