I grew up on Desert Strike/Jungle Strike/Urban Strike/Soviet Strike/Nuclear Strike whatever else strike.

This scratches my late 80s early 90s kid action itch.

Fuck I might have to watch Fire Birds to get in the mood. Apache helicopters and Nicholas Cage lets go.

Played the demo for Cleared Hot during the last Steam Next Fest. While there were parts of it showing that it was still somewhat early in development (like some basic fonts on the HUD, small stuff), it was still promising. Fun vibes. I'll be keeping an eye on the game during its Early Access stage.

Also going to take this opportunity to mention Brigador again, since that gameplay takes cues you would find in the Strike Series (far more focused on blowing shit up, though), AND the base game is on sale right now for 74% off. But definitely go for the Deluxe Edition with the Soundtracks and Audiobook.

I'll wait for it to come out of early access, been burnt too many times with games that never finish dev
