COD: Modern Warfare II trailer leaked

They have this thing with Limited Time Modes where they're constantly in rotation. It's a bit frustrating that sometimes a good mode such as Clash comes along (feels a bit like Ground War or Battlefield) but it only lasts the week. I think it's to encourage people to get their wallets out and buy Vanguard or other Call of Duty multiplayer games.

I do believe classic 6v6 still has its place. But the BR behemoth is definitely the current trendy thing that everyone is trying to get their hooks into. Too much money being left on the table otherwise.
yeah i know, i also play apex every day, thats my go to br. But then I go to cod for somethign different, 6v6

I hope they dont add pacing options, at least to every game mode. I feel like cyber attack works best with 6v6. For tdm chaos and regular is fine, but I feel like three pacing options is too much.

Maybe having only having bouncing pettys could be fun since they have counter by crouching. Claymores require eods.

Bomb could be accessed with dpad since sometimes I dont pick bomb because it interferes with weapon swapping.

Separate lobbies for pc and console players would be nice due to cheating and kbm advantage for pros.

Jumpshotting could be toned down since it throws off aim assist.

Just some features I personally would love to see. Others may disagree.

What do you want to see, BF2042 happening all over again? People were asking for a TRUE Battlefield and got lemons.
Now imagine the CoD devs doing this..... Throwing years of cemented features overboard....
Yeah......... You'll have a shitstorm of Biblical proportions coming.

As the creator of Megaman once said: "Never change a winning formula".
I know I should've added the /s lol.

Maybe have the older style claymores which had two clicks before they exploded to give players time to react. They don't necessarily have to be done away with, but a change in how they operate could be good. The current ones give zero time for reaction and nobody wants to run around with the engineer perk equipped lol.

The pacing lobbies should be done away with imo. Just dilutes player pools, have dedicated modes for larger game modes.

I agree that crossplay options (console only, everyone) would be a good option to include too, though Ricochet seems to be making good progress on dealing with cheaters.

Jumpshotting should be treated the same as dropshotting. Huge penalty to accuracy even if I like engaging in both of them.

Some nice proposed changes. I like it.

Yeah, separate playlist is probably the best for pacing.

Currently playing mw so just dropping my thoughts and one thing I forgot is that I would like tac sprint gone. Just make normal sprint bit faster.

Looking forward to playing this. Vanguard and BLOPS were booty. CODMW19 was the only COD that I have cared about in years.

What a wholly original and brilliant take!

CoD is like FIFA!!! amirite? Every year is exactly the same as the previous one and they put in zero effort!!
Well, let's say both are not what they were back in the days!

I mean, for better or worse, nothing is.

CoD1, MW2 and BLOPS3 were probably my favourite multiplayer experiences from this franchise but everything has to move on with the times and you certainly can't fault them for lack of trying. They cram in so many features and mechanics every year it's kind of crazy. A lot of features and mechanics that most casual players don't even realize (which is fine) and you will always have a portion of people who come in with brilliant hot takes such as "it's a reskin every year", yet when you ask them to explain what they actually want from CoD they can't come up with any solid criticisms. Hence why I was joking around with the "it should be a kart racer this year!" as I'm not sure what these people want from a franchise that year-in-year-out puts out very solid releases with AAA-production value. Even their worst multiplayer efforts (Vanguard, Infinite Warfare, etc) are still heads-and-shoulders above the competition in terms of basic mechanics, animation, gameplay modes, weapon variety, cosmetic unlocks, (technical) performance, etc.

Yes they put in some questionable content in existing titles by the time the new one rolls around but if that keeps the lights on and the kids are happy with their Snoop Dogg or Samurai warrior skins then by all means. Now I'm not going to sit here and say that the last few CoD's were bastions of pure brilliant game design. Even the ones I enjoyed in recent years such as Modern Warfare 2019 and Cold War had a whole heap of issues but despite these problems I still had a ton of fun with them and am always curious to see what they cook up for the next one. All signs, so far, point to MW22 being an incredibly solid effort and while the legacy multiplayer mode might not be for me any more I'll definitely check it out to see what else it has to offer.
