For me, accurate hip fire spray and pray means ADS not needed anymore. More people will be running around not even bothering to ADS anymore, even from long distance. Just hold down the fire button at any distance hipfiring.

that's technically called run & gun. like, Halo is a run & gun shooter, same with Splitgate.

spray & pray is just the term for randomly hipfiring, hoping the random spray will still hit shit.

I doubt it will be accurate enough to be Halo style hipfire tho.

my bet is that it's more in line with Apex Legends, which has some weapons that are viable as hipfire weapons from mid range, but not really good at it either.

my bet is that it will simply increase consistency and not actually be any good at a distance.

Of course im gonna support em and pre-order the vault edition... question is will i actually play it. Sigh.

Lots of new info sounds great but I am hesitant to really get hyped.

More will prob be revealed as we get closer to launch and I'll at least give first season a go.

Guns can be accurate (meaning the bullet will travel to exactly where the barrel was pointing rather than randomly deviate from that path) while still being difficult to control recoil-wise when hipfiring. I trust IW know better than to turn their gunplay into feeling like braindead airsoft.
