Hey Gaf coding peoples I need your advice for work.

I know they aren't the same thing, but I want to know if there is any real long term benefit from switching to PDO? As far as I know the difference between the two is minuscule, and there are certain situations where either is better than the other.

So should I waste hours switching over to PDO or should I just keep Mysql? Is there any major long term benefits that I can get by switching to PDO that I will not get if I keep Mysql?

Stick with Mysql, everything important uses it and will continue to use some flavor of it for the foreseeable future.

I just saw season 1. Does it get better? Or are they just gonna do the fight club thing all the way through?
