I'm not a huge Madden fan, but the onfield gameplay has always been different between the college and pro game in real life and in video games.

Part of the appeal of the college game is building a program with recruiting and other off field stuff. None of that exists in the pro game. Pro and college football are like two different sports.

Agreed, the number one problem with this game is the EA label. The company is absolutely bloated, soulless garbage now just like all the other giant publishers (Bizzard, ... pretty much all of them). Gaming became a cynical business and a production line ages ago.
