Comedy Central has announced nine new series which will debut exclusively on Snapchat.

The commissions cover a variety of formats, including animation, sketch, stand-up and reality TV.

"It allows us to play with form and format, and the reception from our fans and the creative community has been tremendously gratifying."

The shows, according to the press release, are:

​7 Mins in Purgatory - comedians perform but can't hear the audience's reaction
Animal-Lolz - animation sharing true animal facts
Bert's Dreams - Bert Kreischer's dreams come to life via animated recreations
Deadliest Chef - Caleb Synan struggles on reality TV cooking shows
Guber Pool - sketch series about awkward ride-sharing apps
Messages from the Future - Julio Torres, in the future, tries to save the present day
The Lounge - animation follows four best friends at a middle school
You're Wrong - Mike Lawrence is "an angry nerd with strong opinions"
Untitled late night series - exposing what really happens during commercials
