Ok. I'm a firm believer now, after giving Kimmel... what, two years?... on his late night show that he was not in any way related to the comedy of the Man Show. Well, I won't go that far. He was heavily involved, it's just that Adam Corolla was far more comical. Corolla SHOULD have his own late night show, and when NBC moves Conan up to Leno's spot in 5 years, I hope they give Corolla the old Conan gig.
Back when Kilborn left the Late Late Show, and they were looking for new hosts, they had one new person every week. Well, right after they announced the new host, they still had their guest host going. That week it was Adam Corrolla (sp?). I only watched the first twenty minutes, but those 20 minutes were funnier than anything I've seen on Kimmel's show. He started off with some picture of a homeless fat kid, and was like, "Everytime it gets slow I'm going to flash this picture of this homeless fat kid from the 1950s. Just look at it." Then he went into this thing, "Well, since I'm not gonna get this job, I'm just going to do home improvement tips. I've got a camera at a local Home Depot and here, we'll take some questions." Well he ends up doing this entire bit on home improvement, and he was serious the entire time he was talking to these old people about building stairs or something, but then they kept flashing this goofy looking fat kids picture into the frame and it just made the entire thing HILARIOUS.
Looking back on it, I really think Corolla should have his own show, and Kimmel should stick to NFL Today.
