Well I figured with the influx of comic book threads.

And the fact I just discovered this awesome thread at SuperHeroHype and would love to see more pictures.

That this would be a place to post some of your favorite artwork from comics. Be it pages or sketches or whatever.

Possibility overload! I could sit here for a week and post favorite Steve Ditko pages alone. I don't even know where to begin, so off the top of my head here's a few of my favorite covers from one of my favorite artists (Brian Bolland):

Haha! :lol :lol :lol

Is that from Kyle Baker's Plastic Man?

:lol

Yep, you got it. <3 Kyle Baker

I was looking for some art from 'Letitia Lerner: Superman's Babysitter', but couldn't find much. It's definitely one of my favorites of his. :)

who did the inking on this? it makes jim's pencils look more subdued and better.

Alex Sinclair. He's worked with Lee in the past and continues to do so as the colorist while Scott Williams is the inker. Sometimes Sinclair contributes to Lee's covers as well such as the Absolute Hush one there.

Spank: How about some of that sexy ass Catwoman from The Long Halloween? :D
Bzzzzzt! ERROR: Search "sexy_ass_Catwoman" in file HALLOWEEN.LONG has failed. Next query?

Nah, not really. It's just that Catwoman: When in Rome, which I don't have, is a much better source for Sale's work on Selina. But if you're that hard up, I'll scrounge some TLH up.

In the meantime, how about some Hughes?

Spreading the Ross love...

Congrats if you know who this artist is. Also, loosen your grip... ;)

For karasu, apparently a big Charest fan.

And let's top things off with a pinch of Chobacca:

I perused When in Rome, and I think TLH is superior. I much prefer the heavily muscled cat-like Catwoman. Holy shit that's the defining moment of the character for me. everybody else, pack your bags and go home. :q

Got an uncensored version of that Richards pic? :P

Amazon.com appears to be stiffing me on my Frank Cho Women book. >:|

Too lazy to scan mine, so i'm sorry for the small size. I also prefer Loeb's Catwoman in TLH over When In Rome.

so a baseball fan and a comics fan? you should post int eh weekly comics column.

I don't know why i don't post in that thread. It's a great time to be a comic book fan. I had the craziest collection going back in the day and then i kind of stopped buying them. The current renaissance has me back into them full tilt. I'll get around to posting in that thread one of these days.

Here's your Catwoman:

HAWT!

When in Rome she's less muscular, her ears are smaller, and generally it's more status quo dull Catwoman.

God damn.

That two page spread where she's lunging for Poison Ivy - UNF! :P

Man he knows how to draw chicks.

His re-design of Black Cat way back when in Amazing Spiderman was the best. That will never be matched.

Nobody digs McFarlane? I mean, the man invented Venom.

This is a pretty famous cover as well.

Poor Boris Valejo and his dependency upon models. Once you see one posed bodybuilder on a reddish-orange background, you've seen them all.

At least Ross has the good sense to make his stuff pop off the page.
