Hey, folks, it's Monday, and that means a brand new Comic Book Day! Here's the master list to all of the great stuff you'll be able to buy on Wednesday, November 18th, 2009. What'll I be picking up? Check it:
Adventure Comics #4: Superboy-Prime returns in the pages of Adventure Comics, courtesy of Geoff Johns and guest artist Jerry Ordway. The Blackest Night's apparently gotten to Earth-Prime. What's a whiney bastard to do?!
Amazing Spider-Man #612: Kraven the Hunter's family's been taking their sweet time observing Spidey and coming up with their grand plan to finally take him down. Well, time to up the ante! "The Gauntlet" begins this week!
Azrael #2: To be honest, I wasn't too into this series, but apparently the main character's going to die in six months, so I wanna see how that plays out. And Fabien Nicieza's a totally competent writer, so I think it's worth sticking out.
Batman Streets of Gotham #6: Chris Yost returns as guest writer to finish his two-parter with The Huntress and Man-Bat. The first part was actually really great, so I'm definitely looking forward to this.
Dark Avengers #11: Man, look at that cover! With that, and the ending to #10, we know something's definitely up with Osborn. And who can blame him? Molecule Man is here!
Dark Reign List Amazing Spider-Man One-Shot: We all saw this coming. Osborn's been making his list and checking it twice. He knows who's naughty and who's nice. But with our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man? Well, he's just dead.
Flash Rebirth #5: With all of the delays, this mini's definitely lost some steam. It's a shame, too, because the creative team is fantastic. Hopefully Blackest Night Flash won't suffer the same off-and-on schedule.
Incredible Hulk #604: Skaar's "education" continues. This time he fights a harpy!
Invincible #68: After briefly leaving Earth to catch up with Allen the Alien and Nolan the Viltrumite, we're back on Earth, where "everything has changed!" Invincible's sporting some pretty heavy-duty robotic casts, too.
Irredeemable #8: I'm not gonna spoil this for anyone who hasn't had the chance to read it, yet. I'll just say that Mark Waid has been killing it on this book since #1, and that everyone who isn't picking it up absolutely should be.
Justice Society of America 80-Page Giant #1: Much in the same fashion as JLA's Giant from a month or so ago, this issue's gonna be something of an anthology of stories involving the newer JSAers exploring the Brownstone. Man, I wish I had a Manhattan Brownstone. Those things are badass.
Mighty Avengers #31: The conclusion the Mighty Avengers fighting The Unspoken. Also, secrets revealed!
Outsiders #24: A Blackest Night tie-in! Terra's around, and she's looking to have some "quality time" with her big bro. You know, I always thought their relationship was a little weird. They're brother and sister, but her personality was completely different and they never really seemed that close.
Realm Of Kings: In this somewhat-epilogue to War of Kings, we see what's going to come of all this Fault business.
Realm of Kings Inhumans #1: Since we're seeing what's going on with the Shi'Ar in Imperial Guard, it only seems right to check up on the Kree Empire with the Inhumans.
Spider-Woman #3: Has anyone been reading this and watching the motion comic? The episodes are up for free at Hulu, but I'm afraid that watching them might ruin reading the series. Can anyone shed some light on this?
Supergirl #47: Supergirl's brought Reactron back to New Krypton, and it's time for some good ol' fashioned Kryptonian Street Justice! I predict Mommy Dearest will be cruel, regal, and bitchy.
Superman Batman #66: Solomon Grundy KILL Blackest Night! RAAAARRGHHH.
Thunderbolts #138: Since Marvel killed Jeff Parker's two other on-goings, Agents of Atlas and Exiles, I guess it's somewhat fitting to give him the all-out-of-whack Thunderbolts series. Hopefully he can get this book back on track.
Wolverine Weapon X #7: More asylum stuff! Craaaazy Wolverine.
X-Men Legacy #229: Apparently this is a Gambit-focused issue that's gonna "shock" everybody. Guess we'll have to wait and see, hommé.
Also of note this week: Dr. Horrible One-Shot, Cowboy Ninja Viking #2, and Viking #4.
