So today I was offered a job at the comic shop I go to. Considering it.

Why is Iron Man on the X-Men alt covers?
And why do I care? :lol

It's a promotion for Iron Man 2 and it's not just the X-books, it's many of the MU books. Some are "eh, whatever" but others are pretty cool.

Big week for me, with Power Girl,, X-Men Legacy, X-Factor, Justice League, Guardians and Green Lantern.

Oh, hell, I'll pick up Brave and Bold simply for cheesecake goodness.

Ohh god you guys... oh god. Brave & the Bold #33. Just read it and I am CRYING. :*(

I am officially a believer in JMS at DC after this. In fact, I may make a thread.

I will make a thread.

Joe the Barbarian: This was great. Murphy continues to impress.

Green Lantern: This was totally awesome. Sucks I have to buy Brightest Day #1 to follow Jordan.

Ultimate Comics Spider-man: Oh man, this issue was awesome. The last two issues were totally meh, so glad this is back in top form. The round head Spider-man joke :lol :lol :lol .

Amazing Spider-man: GREAT chase issue. Lots of fun. And Weeks is just about the best ASM artist. Fun back-up too.

How did Juggernaut mold that slab of metal into his helmet?

Side note, what's with this "One Moment In Time" ASM 638 ad?

American Vampire - I'm really digging both the main story and the backup story.

Who Will Wield the Shield - =/

Green Lantern - I've loved every GL thing I've read until now and this issue was no exception. =O Can't wait to see what's with Guy's series.

Power Girl - PG was brutal.

The sequel to One More Day, a four-parter by Quesada and Rivera which is going to explain all of the unanswered questions from OMD.

I think people are doing their hardest to FORGET OMD

Does Quesada seriously think anyone gives a shit about questions that remain from that morally reprehensible and utterly Shitacular piece of fuck that was OMD?

Dude a lot of people invested a lot of time and thought into that thing. It was utter ridiculous I remember those couple of months while the story was going on :lol Quesada is most likely trying to clear his name a bit (because everyone gives him shit for it still) just because he can. I'm quite curious what they plan on doing with it, but that's probably just me.

:lol Really? He seriously thinks that because many people have been asking for it for 2+ years.

I never would have thought that someone could
"retcon" one of the greatest stories of all time and be successful, hopefully alan moore won't put out some cranky old man diatribe about how he hates this

Damn you icelandish (?) volcano!! No comics for me this week! I guess it's the same for British gaffers. Was really looking forward Green Lantern and Joe the Barbarian... Baaah I'll more stuff to read next week and my comic shop is keeping me the PBF book.

Next week's Action Comics #889 is the finale of Greg Rucka's Flamebird/Nightwing saga, and here's a look at the cover by Alex Garner:
