Diablo 1 never got a 'remastered' console version, did it? Only the PSX version way back in the day.

Sad, should have found some way to get it on console as well.

This can't be all of it lol. That means 1 shit sports game for Ultimate. That's it. The rest is PC, Standard (meaning its already on there). If that's actually it, its a slap in the face. Couple more of these and its a no brainer to cancel.

The second half has three day 1 games.

January 28Eternal StrandsConsole, PC, TBD
January 30Sniper Elite: ResistanceConsole, PC, Cloud
January 31Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward VectorConsole, PC, TBD

Diablo1 is fire, its old af but if u decide to look past its outdated graphics, its timeless classic, the soundtrack in particular.
It can still provide u with tens of hours of fun + for our younger gafbro's its a chance to see how hack&slash genre came to exist(first few years it was called diablo-like actually :p ).

Funny anecdote from the 90s when i was teenager, we were playing diablo1 at my friends house, we stopped and went to different room, then his younger bro, maybe 6-7yo decided he will try, he was doing pretty great till he encountered:

Then he got scared, left the pc and ran away from the room :D

2nd half looks great. 2025 in general looks great. But this is unacceptable. Road 96 was already on there as well.

We know small indies want GP placement. Pick at least 1 game that hasn't been on there yet. Or some of the 360 MS published obscure shmups. Or a Tony Hawk game. Anything.

Compared to a year ago this is very bad, especially for Ultimate. The amount is crazy low, why not have some smaller games added as well? What is the hold up on all remaining ABK games? It's still possible we get some random drops during the dev direct, and of course there's the second half of the month but I can't be the only one noticing how the offerings have reduced significantly over the months.

Had I not have the option to share GPU I definitely wouldn't buy for a full year, let alone monthly.

You know there’s another drop this month. Sniper Elite shows up there, among others. The Xbox wire article says there’s going to another one this month.

You know Avowed shows up next month, too.

‘Couple more of these’ ‘slap in the face’ 🙄

I wish. I'm a big fan of replaying retro games with modern gaming stuff like crossplay, better framerates/resolution, and achievements/trophies. Heck, they could resell me my entire retro collection. It's one thing I think Xbox really dropped the ball on is their BC original Xbox games should have got achievements. MechAssault 1 & 2 are some of the best gaming experiences on the original system and I'd replay them in a second to get some useless gamer score points.

Crap 2 weeks. Next drop has Eternal Strands, Sniper Elite Resistance and Citizen Sleeper 2.

Didn't there used to be more posts in this topic, lol.

Wtf happened. I distinctly remember posting those 3 games with their release dates in a reply to your post.

edit: Oh i think that was draugoth's topic.

anyway, Sanepar Sanepar , there's at least 3 day 1 games in the second half of the month.

Yeah I dont know lol. Maybe a mod merged a thread. You did reply to me with the same comment about 3 day 1s. 🤷‍♂️

But yeah, you guys know I think 2025 looks great for GP. I think it could actually be the best year yet. This drop though is legitimately shameful.

This month is terrible, but have these on the horizon:

Doom: Dark Ages
Avowed
Expedition 33
Fable
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

Considering I spent $60 to be subbed all of 2025, these alone are worth the price. Anything else is extra. Terrible start to the year, though.

The month is fine, it's just the first drop.

Brand new Sniper Elite coming out near the end of the month, as well as Citizen Sleeper

They should make Diablo playable on Xbox (you know, the consoles). It was released on PS1 after all so it's doable.

Yeah, but I putting it on GP would require a modern console release in the first place.

i thought this was supposed to be a better offering than PS Plus, hasn't looked it lately tbh
Really?

You enjoying your Call Of Duty Black Ops 6, Stalker 2, Flight Sim, Indiana Jones, Sniper Elite? And that’s just the big day 1s from the past few months…

Dump on the smaller games all you want, but there is no denying the quality on GamePass (if these games are your jam).

Conveniently he didn't post in the coming soon threads for STALKER 2, Indy etc. 🤭
