Yeah I dunno man. I've genuinely been excited about the game since it first appeared and no joke I would check back in on its existence or progress every 1-2 years (when I randomly remembered it and thought ''what happened to that?'') since it was first unveiled back in 2012. I never forgot the game. That first impression was so striking that I kept wanting it this whole time.

But that's based on the style, graphics, atmosphere and premise from the first trailer (and tiny bit of plot info) and that's it. We've still seen so vanishingly little of the actual gameplay and the core loop(s) that it could be anywhere from terrible to mediocre to incredible.

Fingers crossed, of course. But it could be anything, quality-wise. I'm definitely not assuming it's good, let alone great. I just hope it is.

If it's just an atmosphere piece with very thin or poor gameplay I will be extremely, wildly disappointed. I love the presentation but I want an actual game and a good one at that. If it's yet another walking sim with a slick presentation i'm OUT.
