I didn't see anyone make a thread about this terrific album, so it needs to be done!

Just a great all-around album, classic. I was not a fan of Electric Circus, I understand he wanted to do something different though. Be is already a classic in my eyes.

My 3 favorite tracks.

2. Faithful
3. Love Is

Kanye's production is just so good--namely because it is informed by a Motown sentimentality. As per the album, it's got it's moments.

Kanye did his thing on this, got me even more hype for the Late Registration LP

I think Kanye working with Common was a good idea. Electric Circus was garbage because it seemed all he did was hang out with Mos Def and Talib Kweli which lets face it, are spinning their wheels. EC could be interchanged with anything Mos Def and Kweli did and to me, thats a bad thing. BE is a step in the right direction and Common should continue going down this road.

Sort of blah :/. I really had no expectations and in any way I wasn't disappointed nor was I really happy. Sort of a solid decent album- not the 'classic' people say it is.
