This year's guests from Japan are Saori Kobayashi and Yumiko Takahashi. Saori is an accomplished pianist who has composed music for Sega games since 1993. Her most notable work comes from the Panzer Dragoon series and Crimson Dragon, which features magical string melodies back by quick drum beats and ethnic flute melodies. She will be doing a special concert with Lauren Liebowitz from The Returners, Doug Perry, and The Triforce Quartet. This concert is only going to be held at MAGFest and is surely not one to miss!

Magfest is held in National Harbor, MD from Jan 5-8. I know when Yuzo Koshiro performed many missed out because they weren't aware a few years back. Hopefully people have time to go and see this, it should be incredible.

The Yuzo Koshiro concert was truly amazing.

I keep telling people, if you like video games you need to go to MAGFest.

Of course, it's exploded in popularity now and the all of the hotels sold out in minutes this year...so I think the word's gotten around, heh.
