This is a new one, and due to the size of the file in question and the realtively slow dual 1GHz G4 at Mac, I'm just going to ask right away without doing trial and error...
So, I've output a 230GB two-hour uncompressed file from Premiere Pro to our terabyte LaCie drive. I had somebody else prep the file in Compressor yesterday so when I came in today it would be ready.
Instead, according to the log, I see...
Status:
Failed:Failed to parse source URL file://(filename)
Since the ETA on this compressing again is 20 hours, I'd kinda like to narrow down why this is happening now so I can possibly correct it instead of waiting and maybe wasting another day.
The file in question opens fine in QuickTime, and plays to the end, so why wouldn't Compressor be able to parse it?
