Coolest character design ever?

Eh.... I don't know if that's any more plausible..... You have to keep in mind that his limbs are buried within all the metal, so it's got to allow for human movements.

In something like X2's what's his name (yeah, I'm not much of a comics geek), his metal skin can be BSed through some "organic metal like state" crap since he is very organic through and through with the "magic" of DNA mutation. With Iron Man, he's just a crippled scientist that builds a metal exoskeleton suit that he wears. Hard to BS with anything that's not within the grasp of immediate technology.

If you're going to make link more realistic, loose the anime face. Make everything more realistic. I saw the next to MGS3's The Boss and Link just looks stupid by comparison.

That's where you're wrong. Being a better artist let's you better appreciate what may seem "simple" or "bad art" if you are an lesser artist.

I don't care what it took if what they draw looks like crap. Some people are born with an eye for art and the skill to get it out. I believe that I was born with the eye, but I can't draw worth a shit.

The NIGHTS character designs are NOT good.
Sudeki art is NOT good.

You'd make a perfect art director major candidate. Not because you actually have a good eye, but the fact that you have no skills to back up your opinionated views. :lol

The NIGHTS character designs are NOT good.
Sudeki art is NOT good.

They might be perfect designs for what the direction called for, ever think of that? Character design isn't all about doing what you think is cool to draw ya know. Trust me, sometimes you are drawing shit that you can't stand, but if that's the job, that's the job.

edit: BTW, There's a reason why Nights characters look the way they do. They were designs for a Saturn game. Not exactly a machine that can do detailed textures, so forget any ornate details. You can tell that Nights design is a good professional design because it looks so good in the Saturn realtime iterations.

With all of the hoopla surrounding the fact that Amano would be doing the main designs for FFIX after a five year hiatus, I has seriously wished the game ended up looking like this instead of what we got. I always liked this particular art
