Ketchup Entertainment today confirmed their completed deal for worldwide rights to the live-action/animated hybrid film that brings Looney Tunes character Wile E. Coyote to the big screen. We had the deal pegged in the $50M range and the film is expected to get a theatrical release in 2026.

Gareth West, CEO of Ketchup Entertainment, said today: "We're thrilled to have made a deal with Warner Bros. Pictures to bring this film to audiences worldwide. Coyote Vs Acme is a perfect blend of nostalgia and modern storytelling, capturing the essence of the beloved Looney Tunes characters while introducing them to a new generation. We believe it will resonate with both longtime fans and newcomers alike."

Starring Will Forte, John Cena, Lana Condor and Tone Bell. Directed by David Green.

Story:
After all of the products made by ACME Corporation backfire on Wile E. Coyote, in his pursuit of the Road Runner, he hires an equally-unlucky human attorney to sue the company. When Wile E.'s lawyer finds out that his former law firm's intimidating boss is ACME's CEO, he teams up with Wile E. to win the court case against him.

Is the Road Runner in it? It SHOULD make $50 million back easily if marketed correctly. But based on IP alone and star power......it could make multiple hundreds of millions

The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie was great, if this is of comparable quality, then this should be fun.

Interesting, the talk was that people who'd seen it said it was great.

If it comes out and stinks, then we'll have to accept that WB knew what they were doing.

If it's great, for the next decade, people will be saying "huh! Remember what they tried to do with CVA?!" every time WB does something they don't like.

There's also the scenario where it comes out and is great but makes no money, where we'd still have to admit WB knew what they were doing.

I thought this had to be buried forever and ever, never seeing the light of day, for WB to get their tax write-off.

Does this open the door for the Batgirl film to be sold?

Can't wait, love me some Looney Tunes!

Someone needs to buy the rights to Scoob Holiday Haunt since that was also completed.

I was disappointed that this got archived because it sounded like a fun premise. Once it was written off I thought there wouldn't be a way back for it so I'm glad it's now getting a release.

Bout time they decided to do something not retarded with this movie.

Zaslav is a fucking incompetent retard who's ruining the incredible legacy that made WB what it was.
