Crimson Collective hacking group claims to have breached Nintendo.

Remember when Sony was hacked and we thought Sony obviously kept it's unannounced secret stuff more secure because the leaks showed nothing....when in reality the leaks showed everything.
They stored everything in cleartext then when that breach happened. The built-in browser was riddled with vulnerabilities related to webkit.

Back then, security wasn't a primary concern with an assumption that technological obscurity would be enough of a barrier.
