I know you're joking, but I only ever see people bitch about remasters on PC. Mainly because they suck compared to the original releases. Mafia II, Bioshock 1 & 2, Doom BFG, etc.

I ran the Remastered version with my RTX 2060 laptop with everything on "Can it run Crysis" just fine (with DLSS on, of course)

Glad that they are releasing the remastered versions of 2 and 3 on Steam (they were EGS exclusives)

I wanted to replay them with DLSS, but fuck Epic Games Store.

What Crysis are you talk about? Crysis 1?

'Can it run Crysis' as far as I remember is just a meme because the Cryengine 2 is very poor with multithread.

Crysis 2 and 3 already got a better optimization is this departament as soon as the game evolve to Cryengine 3.

Of course my laptop can run the original, but the remaster is some heavy stuff. I have a Dell 7000 series laptop which was released in early 2016 if I recall and the remaster came out in 2020. One would assume I would get some mileage on the lower settings as I don't care too much for graphics but boy was I wrong lol. Doesn't matter, I'll pass on this.

I replayed 1 remaster on steam. It aged and it's much shorter than I remember. Like shockingly short.
2 was always my fav so maybe if it's cheap down there line

Crysis 2 is still a looker and good for 100% GPU usage of my 4090.

Getting over 100 fps at 5120x1440 most of the time.
