That's tough. It's a great game.

I'll say this, you won't feel ripped off by it. But it really should be a bit cheaper.

If I never played it and was getting a Switch 2, I would get this for my shiny new handheld.

I have played it extensively on PC, Xbox one X, Steam Deck and it plays wonderfully on the Deck. I imagine it will run great on Switch because CDPR will optimize the hell out of it.

IMO in that case, you should just get it cheaper on a stronger system. PS5, Series X, or PC would all be better than buying it on Switch 2. It just doesn't make sense.

PC is ideal thanks to mods.

Yep, but like someone else said.... IF i did not have a Deck, PC, Xbox.. SOMETHING that could play it. The full patched game with expansion on one card for a new handheld would be worth paying $80 for.

But I do not live in that world, so can't relate. I simply think it's a fun game and if you only have nintendo hardware, now you can play it

$80 is not the standard moving forward. Most likely it's a 1st party case-by-case pricing structure.

Ahh, yeah. Base game MSRP was $60 and Phantom Liberty MSRP was $30

So $90. My guess is $50-$60 though

Very curious how switch2 gonna handle this game, we know it will come day1 so we can expect all the tech channels go in and out about this game from technical standpoint.
We know cdprojekt red is solid dev/pub so we will be able extrapolate fairy accurately actual power of the device, both in handheld but more importatly in docked mode

Personal guess- game gonna run better than on ps4pr0 but worse than xbox series s
