...and that, kids, was the first time I sucked a dick for crack
This is may be an old episode (but it doesn't seem like it), but Wayne Brady is doing a skit with this guy from the audience. His name is Chris and he said he was a game critic from Daily Radar. Which Chris is this? He's got long hair (pony tailed) and an earing.

Daily Radar still exists?

Yeah...heh, this is why I think this episode is at least 4 years old. But it looks more recent, though.

EA guy that we like
It was Chris Kramer. He's now the head of PR for Sony Online Entertainment. And, yes, that's a very old episode.

A lot of people hated Daily Radar, but a lot of people just love to hate. I miss DR's reviews and often stupid top ten lists, but I hit that site every day and usually found something to laugh about (or at). Their PC tech section was top notch, and run by a guy who would actually return emails. Gamespot is alright, but bland, and IGN is too kiddy sometimes. I also miss GameCenter.

DR; bad memories. I only really frequented their movie and PC sections, but the guys who ran those were extremely unprofessional. It was like a site run by multiple Tallaricos.

Ahaha, Kramer? Really? I hated that loof. I even had an outing of words with him.

Hater +1 here. That travesty was little more than multiple fanboy sites merged into one ugly mess. Didn't help that I was a Nintendo fan and it was painfully obvious that the guy in charge of the Nintendo portion (Greg Wolf?) wasn't.

HEY, HEY.

MIKE WOLF WAS A DAMN GOOD GUY.

No, Mike liked Nintendo and he was a damn fine Editor.

... He really didn't deserve a lot of the slack he got and it was real unfortunate, with most of it being a byproduct of the backlash from when Imagine decided to boycott all things Nintendo due to that silly Pokemon lawsuit.

Mandark

Small balls, big fun!
Mike Wolf seemed like a nice enough fellow, but he was really out of his depth. "Capcom announced plans for a GBA Rockman game. No word yet if this is a replacement for the expected Mega Man game, or in addition to it." That sort of stuff.

Yeah, that sums it up.

lol. Daily Radar. People used to bag on that site so much. I still remember when Imagine was sued by Nintendo for using Pokemon stuff without a license. Then in Imagine's letter about not having any Nintendo coverage "They sued us for stealing, so we can't do any Nintendo stuff!" Like that had anything to do with the lawsuit. lol.

Speaking of bagging on websites, I wonder if PlanetGamecube ever uses NintendoNation references in a deragatory manner. 6 months after NN died, they were still blaming NN for stuff (bad stats in an article! Doh!). Ah, the greatness of videogame websites.

Jay Boor was the man during the PSMOnline days. He then left to GameFan (R.I.P.) and then to the pits of England and now he's back in the US. I always did <3 Jay. He's the fucking man.

Him and Dave Z...Dave's just too damn cool.
