I thought the little one and the last one were quite decent. Those areas look like they'll be awesome fun to mess about in.

Nono, that's no it. It's just blurred as hell. And jaggies. I thought jaggies were PS2 exclusive.

true. I see what you mean of course... I'm thinking it could be a consumer capture card a bit like mine. Pitiful deinterlacing... probably a PAL version meaning likely not pro-scan, coming through a card in normal resolution and not having the scanlines there to make it look nice.

Far cry from the press shots they release...


edit: still haven't commented on the score. I don't normally like to see perfect scores, but if Edge and GamesTM are willing to do the same, the game probably deserves the hype..

The number of games with proper FSAA this gen can probably be counted on one hand. These screens are framebuffer dumps taken with a debug unit. This is what the game actually looks like as rendered by the Xbox.
