Nah. Played Dark Souls later and is a very annoying game.

After Bloodborne and Elden Ring I prefer to their sucessor or a Bloodborne Remaster.

Unfortunately Bloodborne remake is highly unlikely with Herman at the helm. It would have happened already.

Dark Souls remake is the best we're going to get.

Not sure what you are referring to, but yeah, I'm one of the many people who disliked the generic art direction change that Bluepoint took in their remake, both music and visuals.

I'm baffled by people not liking the Demon Souls remake graphics. Some of the enemy models might look a bit westernized compared to From's own creations, but the overall increased fidelity of the world makes the game much more immersive.

But more importantly than that, it plays better than the original. The improved animations make the gameplay a lot smoother.

I loved it, was one of my favorite platinums when it dropped.

There is a perfect world where this could possibly be something truly special. However in the real world I doubt this is even happening at all. Maybe one day.

Still, ds1 is still goated and one of my favourite games ever. I was obsessed with it for a time, many happy memories.

Hopefully they redo and fix Hollow/Bleed builds in DS3 , they totally butchered them when TRC dlc came out ... also fix pocket poise and nerf PKCS

it is the weakest Dark Souls, but i like the atmosphere and the landscapes and the music.

Steam cloud support would be enough for me. It's annoying that in 2026 I can't play DS2 and 3 on my Deck and then play the same save game on PC too.

The quality post Anor Londo really dropped in DS1, to DS2 level dare I say, stark contrast after an outstanding first half. A a revisited DS1 could really focus on that part.
DS2 would need an almost complete remake to make any sense though.
