Not familiar with the studio though I have heard of the Pathologic games.

"In consultation with the Acid Wizard team" gives me hope. Don't screw this up people.

Even though Pathologic 2 is a masterpiece with a great art design, this here looks like a cheaply made side project(which it probably is).

A far cry from the beautiful visuals of the original Darkwood

I was not in the mood for Darkwood 1's spoopyness at the time I tried it.

But the fact that Ice Pick Lodge is making this is real intriguing. Pathologic 2's tone is singular (of all the games I've played), and I believe they'll nail what they're going for with Darkwood 2.

The ambiance (headphones recommended if you can take it!) combined with the player character being able to see only what is in front of him makes a tense atmosphere.

this is excellent news. Darkwood is excellent and left me wanting more. I hope to see Ice Pick move it into new directions.

This was unexpected. Looks good. First one was crazy hard I never could get very far. Maybe I should try again. It honestly was kind of creepy, which was surprising.
