...and that, kids, was the first time I sucked a dick for crack
It's like this entire day was some sort of VIP treatment. First, I managed to get inside Club Deep way before anybody else on the lines -- including the VIP folk. :lol If that wasn't enough, my connection at the club scored us some wristbands that allowed for unlimited drinks. The club, as always, had the best list of tracks playing. After dancing for about 2 hours or so, we left at 1:30 and started heading to my car. About 4 doors down from the club, I see a very, very familiar shape standing outside of this little bar/cafe and talking on the phone....
It was Dave Chappelle! We were passing by him, in awe while smiling at him. I ended up shaking his hand and telling him that he's "the fucking man". He didn't have any bodyguards around him, and was chatting to someone on his cell phone, near a couple of cute girls who were talking to him. Looked like a very sociable and approachable guy. About 15 minutes later, we're driving past the club this time, and he was still outside. I honked three times and said bye to him, haha...he waved back.
Man, that was pretty darn cool. I've spotted celebs and all out in LA, but I think this is my first unintentional sighting in NYC.
