There is info about the game and pre-order information about Delta. They are working on more Master Collection updates and resolution is mentioned. The interview part starts around 3:55.

Here are the contents of the Deluxe and Collector's Edition that I've posted in the other MGS Delta thread:

Didn't realize there were two threads about this. I'll repost what I had in the other thread:

I was just about to post this. This interview with Okamura is actually worth watching. He addresses the issues with the Master Collection in a surprisingly candid way, and even tells us to keep providing feedback to "keep them honest".

Also, I think the footage of Delta looks a lot better in this video than during the reveal yesterday.

It's also nice that they hired David Hayter again. It really seems like Okamura is trying to steer Konami towards developing real video games again. They've got a long way to go before they earn my trust, but this video is a good start.

I liked the interview too. Konami has really improved communication with fans lately. It sounds like they are going to patch higher resolutions for Master Collection. I had already lost hope.

Does anyone think Hayter could write a decent MGS story?
He should write a remake of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake as one game and he would play solid snake and kiefer sutherland would play big boss. David Hayter would do it justice and it would run on unreal engine 5

I'll definitely play with New Style controls. While I grew up on legacy, new style has to have some big perks to it.

SO why did they make the boss uglier? I guess its still trendy to uglify women in games...

Konami are far from the villainous company they're portrayed as.

Metal Gear Solid Delta looks great. Silent Hill 2 remake also looks great. After a rocky launch, the Master Collection improved a lot and is in a solid place now (and soon an even better one if they manage to add higher resolution). They are listening to feedback and often implement it (like fixing James' face in SH2 remake). For as flawed as Silent Hill: The Short Message was, they released it completely free. The Contra and Castlevania collections developed by M2 were excellent. Even that latest Contra game they put out wasn't half bad.

People are just stuck in boohoo mode because they moved Kojima's desk after he powered through $80 million on MGSV and still couldn't even finish the game.

Considering that she's a middle aged woman with no makeup, who has been a soldier for most of her life....yeah, I think she looks fine. Now if Eva ends up not looking like a supermodel, then you might be on to something. The contrast between the Boss and Eva is part of what makes both of them memorable.

I thought I saw something somewhere that hayter had written a script for an mgs film years ago? That might be something M ManaByte would know.
No idea. I just know the story of how his writing credit on X-Men is fake. The X-Men movie was actually written by like 12 people. Way to many to credit or go through the WGA headache for, so Fox paid Hayter to sit on the set and transcribe what was being shot into a script. Bam. Single writer credit.

…You thought The Boss was hot back then?

She always looked middle aged, grounded, and stressed. There's literally only one scene where you can somewhat call her attractive and that's because you're not looking at her face.

I always commended Kojima for being bold with his uglier/realistic MGS3 character designs during a time where the common protagonist archetype was Gackt for men and j-pop idols for women.

Am I the only one who thinks so looks fine? I mean its not like what MS have done with Joanna Dark here

Actually, thinking about it, she looks a lot like Tess in The Last of Us

She looks fine, she is suppose to be a war veteran, not a model

Yes.

I feel like Hayter understands and appreciates Snake more than Kojima does.

I'll never forgive Kojima for the Kiefer Sutherland shit. The dude got big and just decided on spamming Hollywood talent.

I think Kiefer did a nice job with Big Boss and his voice suits Venom and MGSV Big Boss in general, but i also want Hayter back as Naked, Solid and Old Snake.

I mean he wrote the Screenplays for X-Men, X-Men 2 and the first ones for Watchmen before Zach Snyder changed it (and many many people preffered Hayters version) so I think he could
I think he was one of the writers for X-Men but only he got credited for some reason.

I hate you for introducing this idea to me, it will never happen and I need it so bad.
