The black man everyone at Activision can agree on
oh f*ck Rob Liefeld is drawing the Teen Titans... <sigh> that's gonna be a HARD issue to read... I already hate the damn cover...

hmmm a two part return to Marvel 1602.... maybe....

So Cable vs Deadpool is still around? Thats cool.

I see Weapon X only made it 28 issues. Should have known since it was one of the few books I still liked when I quit reading comics that it wouldnt last much longer.

Stormwatch and Wildcats 3.0 both ended soon after I stopped reading too.

Yeah and it's actually been pretty fun.

Weapon X is coming back BTW.

Yeah, going to skip Teen Titans until Liefeld's gone, don't like Hawk and Dove anyways so it's no big loss.

BTW, Teen Titans ROCKED this week, great story and very surprising twist:)

WE''RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!! *phew* i mean, jeez bad things are going down in the DCU everyone getting their butts kicked by this brother eye cyborg or whatever.

Wha...Huh? looks good for Marvel. "What if we actually release this book?" :lol

Ultimates Annual sounds cool. There's the usual Seven Soldiers stuff at DC (Klarion and Shining Knight are my favorites so far). No mention of Desolation Jones, though... maybe it's not a monthly but I just haven't realized it? Anyway, I finally read the first issue of DJ... it was sold out everywhere and I had to borrow a copy from somebody. It's definitely worth tracking down. 'Jack Cross' from Ellis doesn't look all that interesting, though.

Where's the All-Star stuff from DC? Is the Lee / Miller Batman delayed already? Shame.

I love the Liefeld hate, it's completely understandable....even if Robin actually looks masculine for once. I do wish Alex Ross would do more than covers, though I know his method is time consuming. Books like Marvels & Kingdom Come just really take things to a new level when the writing props the art.

And why is Supergirl increasingly looking like a cute whore?

JUSTICE #1 will be godly! Too bad it's bimonthly, though. I'll probably just end up waiting for the trade on this one because of that.

And All-Star Batman & Robin delays already! DC's going to be shipping that book every six weeks now, apparently. Yet, despite the fact that the last week of August is the sixth week after All-Star Batman #1, there is no #2! Frank Miller wigging out already?

My Marvel pull list continues to shrink, too. In August, I'll only be reading: Daredevil, New Avengers, and Ultimates 2.

I refuse to buy Teen Titans drawn by Liefeld. I'm doing the only thing I can do as a consumer to show DC what I like and don't. I just with others were as discerning.

I'm getting the Chris Claremont Marvel Visionaries HC and the new Peter David Hulk TPB for sure. Oh and this:

The Marvel book I'm most interested in is the Defenders. DeMatties, Giffen and McGuire doing Silver Surfer, Hulk and Dr Strange should be a real hoot.
