Dead Island 2 was a fucking blast, with the best melee combat, and damage modeling I've ever seen.

Dead Island Riptide DE is also free to celebrate DI2 hitting Steam.

I played the PS5 version and it was a fun game with beautiful LA locations. You just have to be okay with the fact that instead of 1-2 large maps you get 10 smaller ones with plenty of dead ends. I hope they'll make a similar Dead Island 3, maybe with New York or San Francisco in the spotlight (or new areas of LA, like the Hollywood Sign for example).

Epic Games Store is a piece of shit, Was using it long before Fortnite made it a thing working with Unreal engine once it started to offer up games I grabbed a few...
Huge hacks lead to my email, password, credit card info to get leaked.. I changed out all of those things and it was not even a year later that it happened all over again and I just stopped..
They don't know how to run a secure platform....

Now they want to force me to come back to play games they didn't even make? fuck that... release your game on all major platforms or fuck off.

This is a really good game. But I bet a lot of people skipped it because it wasn't on Steam.
I only played it on EGS, because I got it for free. Otherwise, I would have skipped it as well.

This game is a 10-out-of-10 7-out-of-10, if you know what I mean. I had a great time with it, and it's the perfect length. But in no way does it elevate the medium.

It's so good though.
