Technically they're supposed to have spaces between them like so: "I saw the sign . . ."

When it ends a sentence, you have to add an extra period to end it. "I saw the sign. . . ."

That's the right way to do it. I don't like how it looks, so online I just go "..." heh.

You didn't get enough of the 10,1000,387 other series with the same premise before you saw this one?

I don't think this series sucks, but there's nothing in it that hasn't been done countless times before. I like the perverted teacher the most, but that character has also been done too many times, like in Mahoromatic.

Better yet, read the manga. But I wouldn't put Maison Ikkoku into the "nerd boy gets harem" vein; it's not like that at all. Ranma 1/2 would be closer, and that's only because Ranma has several girls chasing after him throughout the series....and even that's different.

I wish Rumiko Takahashi would go back to something like Urusei Yatsura and Ranma 1/2; Inu-Yasha just isn't as appealing to me.

Yeah but most derived from it in some shape or form arguably, in any case its much better, so watch it (or read it)!

yeah I dont care much for Inu Yasha either, its nowhere in the same league as her older stuff

In all honesty....this would be the second series I might've seen that relates to the style. I'm far behind when it comes to this type of stuff. But I have heard that the series is VERY similar to Chobits....but I've never seen that show myself so I cannot comment. But I see what you mean when you say that.

And the teacher seems more perverted than the one in Mahoromatic (damn the ending to that series.....)
