Death Stranding Directors Cut - Final Trailer

Kojima's games are shit and his fans would eat his shit and drink his piss if they had a chance.

It really is an awesome game but I would have preferred a simple current gen upgrade for like $10 instead of another full priced release. I mean judging from this trailer we're getting timed repeatable missions, driving mini games and some new story missions.

I dont think this is worth another $70 if I'm being honest.

Just give me the option bring my PS4 copy up to 4k 60 for a cheap price and then let me decide if I want to go all in on the other content from there.

The upgrade to Director's Cut is $10. It just isn't available until launch.

Almost glad I didn't have a chance play this the first time around... I'll pick this up when it drops. In a world of stale games I appreciate creators who are willing to take chances. Thanks Kojima! 🙏

Death Stranding is not a game, but an experience. That ending is one of the most emotional things in gaming, like ever. I cried like a BB.

Im surprised gamers of today have enough patience to play this. I gave it a good try for around 4-5 hours - and it felt so empty. So I decided to save myself 40/50 hours of my life.

Hmm the trophy list is exactly the same. They couldn't be bothered to give us some new ones!

For $10 I will still pick up the upgrade. But not sure if I will 100% it again.

You haven't even started then. Sure it takes a while but when the game opens up and gives you more gameplay options than it is quite a unique experience.

I had to skip it and wait for the negative launch noise to die down and kept putting it off, I was going to start it in March but glad I didnt given this, my PS5 is ready to accept this Kojima bounty.

Maybe I will hate it 🤷‍♀️ but had to go in with a clear head after watching 90 different people hate-playing the game on launch. This is what it was like:

*streamer running in an absolute straight line towards the destination while holding L2 and R2 and cursing how they just "NEED TO GET THIS SHIT OVER WITH", grinding on all the obstacles in the way until finally falling over and dropping the cargo down a small slope and then swearing loudly*

Streamer: "Fuck I hate this game!!! Its just fucking annoying having to go back and forth like this!"

oh my god omg GIF

Me: "Yeah... why are you playing it again? Seems like you hate it and don't want to engage with its systems" lol

Holy shungus what a cool trailer. That nearly got me hyped back to pre launch levels.

Bit more spoilery than I would've liked but wasn't too bad. Can't wait to start this now, only a few weeks left, which gives me time to finish Japanese Bowing Simulator: Fox Petting Action + Psychochodes 2.

Trailers alright and works with the music and the cutscenes spliced throughout. But then it cuts to gameplay which looks... Just not good. Out of place lol

Someone said the Director's Cut material will ONLY be for PS5, not the PS4, but there is no official word on that, from what I can find, can anyone find official word on that?

Yeah I'm with you. I can't help but take an interest in actually looking at it.... because it is gorgeous...

But after a few hours (and some truly bizarre, awkward dialog) I couldn't get into it.

It's amazing if you are not opposed to very cinematic, very innovative world and story
No, stop doing that, you're being dishonest, the gameplay is extremely niche, that's why it's so widely hated, people trying to convince others that if you don't like it there's a problem with you.

If you enjoy games like Mudrunner and Snowrunner, games where the objective is mostly to chill and go from A to B with the environment being the real enemy, then this is the game for you.

There is an amazing story, but if you don't like the gameplay after watching a few videos on youtube then you'd best steer clear.

dishonest? That's what I've said.
The game is very polished and it's not a walking simulator ONLY like many people say. There are vehicles, building, shooting, materials, online component.
Of course it's not for everyone. No game is.

If You like more relaxed, very atmospheric and original experience, this is great.

Amazing. I finished it only a couple of months ago so I don't intend to play it but will buy the upgrade day one just to show my support and because I feel ashamed that I skipped this masterpiece when it launched.

I'll upgrade my copy for $10 and play this on PS5 instead. Never even played it on my PS4.

I bought it just about when Road to PS5 hit youtube so I figured I'll just wait and play it on next gen instead.
