I love the original Deathstalker and it's first sequel.
And that blade at the end is the triple blade sword that Talon uses from The Sword and Sorcerer movie, another awesome 80s sword and sorcery movie.
I hope that means they might also remake some of the other 80s Sword and Sorcery movies like The Sword and the Sorcerer, Beastmaster, Hawk the Slayer, and Krull.

At first, I was wondering if they were going to have his blond midget sidekick in the new movie, but then I realized that was from the Gor series, not Deathstalker. Thanks to MST3k and Rifftrax, some of the flicks are starting to blend together in my memory
Also, nice catch on the sword from The Sword and the Sorcerer. Richard Lynch as the villain was really good in that one.
