Had high hopes, but the game is fucking terrible. The gamplay loop looks like this: interact with the desk, now with the door, now with the fridge, then the bathroom, the desk again, leave the apartment, go to work, talk to y then with y then with z. Return from work, repeat the whole shit over, sleep, on the morning repeat again. Feels like playing a bizzare SIMS clone.

The map is split up to different zones (MANY small zones) with tunnel entrances on the sides with a load sceen. Going to work takes like three zone changes.

AVOID THIS PILE OF SHIT EVEN FOR FREE.

Game makes me feel sick after a few minutes due to the perspective especially while driving which is majority of the game. Not bad for free but not particularly good either.

There is two other threads... (Three if you count the Epic Games Store free games one.)

You did not play past the tutorial mission as you only need to interact with one relevant object in the apartment per mission set and use the door past the tutorial.

The map is split up to different zones (MANY small zones) with tunnel entrances on the sides with a load sceen.
The zones with the exception of interiors (half a second transition) are the size of towns and take at least a good minute and a half to speed through so waiting two seconds between them is hardly a deal breaker unless one has ADHD.

Going to work takes like three zone changes.
You must have gotten lost as St. Monique (zone with We Deliver company office) connects directly to The Steps (zone with apartment).

The vehicle handling, pressure sensitive acceleration, and destruction physics in this title are better than most bigger budget releases. The narrative is fun mix of dark comedy and (Disney) Pixar-esque 50s themed nostalgia. A lot of fun can be had just cruising around and destroying/collecting stuff. Gameplay loop is reminiscent of The Simpsons: Hit & Run. Highly recommended if you liked the former.

The humor is accurate to time period being emulated but then again robots have trouble distinguishing whimsical word play and situational irony.

Considering I time traveled back to that period (the writing is funny now, back then, nor will it be in the future), am the star of a comedy show, and have played games that have done this very thing successfully (Stubbs, Destroy All Humans), the likelihood of a malfunction is much higher in your puny human brain rather than my perfect central processing unit.

Oh no... His syntax subroutine is broken.
