Demon Stone and Dragonshard getting a remaster/re-release on Steam, today

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
Quite cool to see older games get this kind of treatment while also being released for cheap.

First released in 2004, Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone returns in a polished re‑release: smoother startup and gameplay, proper widescreen scaling, borderless/windowed modes, optimised shadows, full XInput controller support with rumble and hot‑plugging, adjustable audio, and a new in‑game settings menu for modern PCs.

Originally released in 2005, Dragonshard returns in a respectful re‑release that quietly modernises the classic: modern‑resolution support, localisation‑friendly saves and profiles, smoother timers and physics, ASLR compatibility, and other under‑the‑hood fixes for a cleaner experience on today's PCs.

Will probably grab Demon Stone, could use some fantasy-action fun and going by the footage I've seen it reminds me of the LOTR action games a lot.

This is pretty cool. It's always good to see older games available in good state on modern platforms.
Yeah! Would be cool to see this more often, specially if released for such a cheap price! Nightdive could learn from that. :goog_relieved:

I have very fond memories of Demon Stone. Would have been nice if there was console version too, but doesn't look like it.

Consoles missed out on the upcoming Temple of Elemental Evil release too.
I really need a pc again, I wish Valve would quit dragging their feet and release Steam Deck 2.

I can understand PC-centric games not bothering reworking the entire UI for controller, but Demon Stone was on console originally. Having said that, you could probably run all of them on a potato laptop so there is little fear of missing out. It's more of a preference thing for me.

This is too cool, I somehow missed this thread, but saw Demon Stone listed on Steam, and came back to search on GAF to see if anyone was talking about it.

Definitely going to snap these up just to support this type of thing, if nothing else. Demon Stone at least has proper widescreen support even.
