How About No

So I just wanted to make a thread of appreciation for Devil's Candy, a fun webcomic I've heard almost literally nobody ever talk about before, even though I think it deserves it. I wanted to make this thread a while ago, but I was lazy and maybe closer to Halloween would be a better time anyway so...here we are tonight.
Devil's Candy is a comedy with tons of action-y bits, set in Hemlock Heart Academy, the Underworld's first general-admittance school for devil children. We follow these devil children and their hijinks around the school.
As you can probably tell by the images, it's very manga/shonen inspired in its art and writing.
---
This dapper little scamp is Kazu Decker, our protagonist! An intelligent gifted Imp Devil, he has an interest in science and knowledge but can get rather emotional. The principal of Hemlock Heart Academy asks him for help when the school is in trouble (which is all the time)
---
Kazu's science class project, which he named Pandora. Brought to life at the beginning of the series in a Frankenstein-esque experiment, she's simple-minded and violent, but adjusting to school life with Kazu, and, well, adjusting to living in general...
---
A half-invisible man/ half merman, Nemo is Kazu's best friend. A genius as well, he's also rambunctious and the fighter of the group.
---
Hitomi, a cyclops girl who's been crushing on Kazu for a while, but can't muster the courage to tell him and also ashamed of her lack of eyes. A talented seamstress and fashion designer as well. Also, cyclopses have powerful strength or something
I rather like Hitomi. While she draws from childhood crush and yandere tropiness, these aspects are more treated like a gag and she's really a more well-rounded character than that. She still feels like her own person rather than being an obsessive satellite of Kazu.
God, now that I think about it, everybody is the muscle of the group besides Kazu...
---
The cast expands well beyond these four, despite being so early we have other students and faculty who have been fleshed out and given their own side stories, all very darn colorful and quirky.
The scope's even been expand beyond Hemlock Heart Academy into the rest of the Underworld, with super-powered mafioso and amagic talking guitar guitar-shaped devil!
---
Devil's Candy is written by Clint Bickham/Bikkuri, who has also been a voice actor and script writer for Sentai Filmworks and Funimation
Illustrated by Priscilla Hamby/Rem and well, you can see her work is quite stunning
Now in it's sixth chapter, Devil's Candy updates Monday and Friday.
So if any of this sounds interesting to you, please check it out here at the start!
Happy Halloween y'all!
