Set 10 years after Dexter went missing in the eye of Hurricane Laura, the series finds him living under an assumed name in the small town of Iron Lake, New York. Dexter may be embracing his new life, but in the wake of unexpected events in this close-knit community, his Dark Passenger beckons. Joining Hall, the cast also includes Julia Jones (The Mandalorian), Alano Miller (Sylvie’s Love), Johnny Sequoyah (Believe), Jack Alcott (THE GOOD LORD BIRD) and Clancy Brown (The Crown, BILLIONS). Reuniting Hall with original series showrunner Clyde Phillips, DEXTER: NEW BLOOD is currently in production on 10 one-hour episodes in Western Massachusetts.

I'm retarded?
I still odnt understand. If its set 10 years after the previous events, it's a sequel, not a reboot? What is even going on. I dont get it and wtf is up with his hair, just roll it back or something ffs.

Is that Lundy's voice in the beginning?

Also he certainly downgraded with the love interest. ;)

People in Miami (and Hannah) think he died in the hurricane, but it looks like he's going to be paranoid in the new season about people from the new town finding out who he is.

I just can't get over the fact that he ditched his son with some woman he just met. If this series doesn't address that at some point then it's a failure to me.

That said, I'll watch anything with Clancy Brown in it.

We ain't outta here in ten minutes, we won't need no rocket to fly through space
Worst finale in history and I hate myself for thinking this looks good.

Can't be worse than seasons 6 and 8, so I'm on board. Its unfortunate how much of a nose-dive the show took in quality after season 4.

Dexter was dead after season 4, that was the perfect finale.

It really was, the show fell off of a literal cliff after that. I believe the original show runner (who oversaw those first 4 seasons) is back, which is the only reason that this appears to have a chance of being good. Let's hope!

They should bring back Doakes from the dead because fuck it why not

And he should walk in on the final episode and say "surprise motherfucker"

Come on, (post S3) Dexter would just bring in Doakes' identical twin.

Hell, make it identical triplets. Imagine Dexter being in a hallway and Doakes walks towards him on both sides. "Surprise motherfucker!" in stereo.
